Security has been tightened all over the place. Guards are now checking not only under you car but also inside your car for malicious content. Every entrance of a mall is manned by security guards who check what’s inside your bag. Military men are seen patrolling around the metropolis. During night time, police officers conduct surprise checkpoints, though as usual is biased against motorcycle riders (are the only “terrorists” you guys know of the motorcycle riders?)
But still, it’s been five days since the blast in Glorietta mall and authorities are still uncertain as to what caused the blast and if ever, who caused it. First, they said it’s because of an lpg leak. Then authorities said they found traces of RDX in the blast site. A terrorist group, Rajah Solaiman, then claimed responsibility to the bombing. But many are still in doubt. Last Sunday, two men in military uniform were barred from entering the blast site after authorities found them carrying a bag which might be used to plant false evidence in the area. Now they are saying that the blast is possibly caused by an accident. Ano ba talaga kuya? Are you guys just witch hunting? But who is the real witch?
This is an abnormal situation that we have now. People’s actions are restricted because of fear from something or someone we do not know. If my analysis is correct, then perhaps my good friend Paeng is right. They have won.
