Ka Bel wipes his nose as blood continues to flow from his nostrils after an accident in Intramuros, Manila. He is now admitted at the Philippine General Hospital.
Anakpawis Representative Crispin “Ka Bel” Beltran was injured in a vehicular accident in Intramuros, Manila early morning of Tuesday. The solon was on his way to the celebration of the Centennial Anniversary of the Inauguration of the First Philippine Assembly around 9AM when the accident happened.
Beltran, together with driver/security escort Jimmy Miranda was driving their Toyota HiAce along Juan Luna street corner Victoria Street in Intramuros when a Ford Everest with plate number ZFJ-427 rammed the left side of their vehicle. The Ford Everest was driven by a Bernard Madrona.
Rescuers from the Philippine Red Cross immediately arrived at the scene. They gave first aid to Beltran and Miranda and was immediately brought to the Philippine General Hospital. Beltran and Miranda suffered bruises in different parts of their body. Beltran was also bleeding from the nose and suffered a cut in his face.
The police authorities are now investigating the incident.
