Blast from the past.
There’s not much happening today except for the Abalos saga. And we are all bombarded by it in the news. So every once in a while I will post old photos and will call it the “Blast from the Past” post.
I took this photo November 13, 2006. There was a security drill in the Manila Police District (which many still know as the Western Police District or the WPD) headquarters along UN Avenue. This was a regular drill where police are told to act as if there was a terrorist threat in the area.
This particular police (leftmost) caught my attention. If you didn’t notice him, here’s a larger photo of that policeman.
No wonder policemen in the country have a very bad image.
